Our products are made with only the purest, natural ingredients that are good for you and good for the environment. We use plant-based ingredients such as aloe vera, coconut oil, and shea butter to nourish and hydrate your skin, while powerful antioxidants and vitamins work to protect and restore your skin's natural radiance.

We're committed to sustainability and protecting our planet, so our products come in glass or tin containers which are recyclable and we use eco-friendly materials wherever possible. We never test on animals and all of our products are vegan and cruelty-free.

OUR STORY

 

 

Pretty Conscious is an earth friendly, natural beauty brand created and founded in 2020 by Charlene Miranda, an Afro-Boricua from New Jersey.       
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    
  “I personally tried countless over-the-counter products to help with my son’s eczema but nothing seemed to work. The solution was, continue to accept poor results or try my hand at a more natural approach.                                            
  Since we already live a conscious lifestyle, I turned to herbal and botanical remedies. Upon acquiring this new knowledge in the field of skincare, our all natural body butter was created. Once I noticed his skin clearing, Luca suggested we share our products with others to help their skin problems as well. And Pretty Conscious Beauty was born.
  Along the way I began to add more products to our line for my own skin concerns, as i suffer from PCOS and struggle with hormonal acne & hyperpigmentation. Although my skin concerns are different from my sons, I wanted products we both could use & benefit from. My inspiration is my son, the goal is to make products that not only make your skin look great  but make you FEEL confident!”-CM

CHARLENE IS A NATIVE OF NEWARK NJ AND GRADUATED FROM ARTS HIGH SCHOOL WITH A MAJOR IN ART.

CHARLENE HAS COMPLETED THE “WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM” FROM BANK OF AMERICA AT CORNELL UNIVERSITY AND THE “INTRODUCTION TO MARKETING” PROGRAM FROM WHARTON UNIVERSITY ONLINE.
